Happy Christmas

A little belated Happy Christmas, I didn't get time to even turn on my computer the last few days! Anyway Happy Christmas to everyone that drops by my blog especially those who follow or comment, I really truly appreciate it. Hopefully 2011 will be an even better year and an even better blog! Hope everyone had a great time the last few days, Christmas really flew by this year I'm already back to work tomorrow. Soon it'll be New Years Eve and 2011, it seems so crazy I remember ringing in the New Millennium I can't believe we're already entering into it's 11th year in less than one week! I don't think I'll be hitting the sales at all this year, I know I should be embarrassed to admit it as someone interested in fashion but I just haven't the time this year and there's nothing I'm particularly wishing for(not to mention it's freezing out!)so I'm happy to give it a miss!

This is what I wore for Christmas day and Stephen's day, the jumper dress is so cosy and comfy I could honestly wear it every single day. The pockets and shape give it a kind of sixties vibe that I love. I wanted one of these teddy bear hats for ages there just so sweet! I've noticed lately that I used to wear primarily blacks and blues, but now I'm moving towards a softer palate of greys and browns. I love these brown leggings from River Island which are taking the place of my black pair I wore to death throughout the year, and to think I swore I'd never wear leggings! The detail on the leggings resemble jodhpurs which makes them more interesting and durable. You might also notice this soft soft beautiful brown bag gifted from my generous boyfriend, I love a roomy bag that works with everything.
Check out the fashion sin I have committed; brown leggings and black boots! How could I :) ?! To be honest, I'm not at all fused about fashion 'rules' like no brown or navy with black. Clothes are meant to be fun and if I like something together that's good enough for me!
Outfit details: Jumper dress (Dunnes Stores) gift from my parents, leggings (River Island)gift from my parents, boots (ebay), Hat (Primark) gift from my sister, handbag (River Island) gift from my boyfriend.

For 2011 I really want to improve this blog the very best I can, so I want to know what people want to see more off, less off etc. Would you like more outfit posts, trend posts, DIYs, art, favorite finds of the week? Or is there something new you'd like to see? Just leave me a comment and let me know I'd love to hear everyone's opinion.
