Valentines Gifts at Etsy

Valentine's is in a matter of days so I decided to share the beautiful gifts available at Etsy that are getting me in the spirit for V day! I love Etsy, it's a hotpot for creativity and originality, the perfect one stop shop for whoever you love: your boyfriend, girlfriend, best friend, mammy, sister, granny, whoever you want to spread the love to you'll find the perfect gift for them at Etsy.

First up is Steampunk Valentine's by The Abandoned Attic at Raidersofthelostart(shop), these cards are a digital download (no waiting for deliveries) and each sheet contains 4 to 6 Valentine cards. They're very reasonably priced at $3.50 or €2.73 and come in different variations. I want the microscope card! For those looking for something very special this shop also sells incredible altered books at understandably higher prices, Alice's Wonderland altered book is simply breathtaking.

For the jewelery lover try soradesigns (shop) and her adorable love envelope necklace, it has a little love note inside that reads I love you and a dainty swallow to deliver the love note. So cute and priced at $27.50 or €21,42.

For the art lover how about this "Love is Old, Love is New, Love is All, Love is You" Vintage Book Page Art Print from ExLibrisJournals (shop), which is printed on a rescued page from an old book, I just go weak at the news for rescued things! It costs $9 or €7.01, stick it in a deep red or gold frame for a very romantic gift. There are other beautiful Vintage book prints available so have a browse through their shop. This is also great inspiration for a DIY project if your strapped for cash or like to get crafty.

This card I just love because it makes me laugh, it's so cute and immature and only $4.00 or €3,12, give someone you like a giggle even though you think they're gross(Shop: thunderpeep).

SixAstray has the most intricate jewelry, I love their Whimsical Secret Woodland Locket Necklace priced at $21.90 or €17,06. The attention to detail on this necklace is just incredible and it as it is a locket you can stash a little surprise inside. If you love Harry Potter, or your loved one does, this shop has the best Harry Potter inspired jewelry. How about a Platform 9 and 3/4 necklace or a Demeter's kiss necklace? Best of all you can get a personalised Hogwarts acceptance letter necklace!!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend :)

Product Review: Revlon Professional Equave

I'm very much a wash my hair and rush out the door girl, I very rarely style my hair and I want products that take care of my hair with minimum effort on my part. I have been using Revlon Professional Equave 2 Phase Hydro Nutritive Leave-in Conditioner for more than a year having received it as a present and I love it. It is hands down the best conditioner I have ever used, first of all it smells really fresh (grape and green-tea), it leaves my hair silky and tangle free, it protects hair from environmental damages and the bottle last ages. The white phase contains nourishing oils and wheat amino acids to condition the hair while the blue phase contains grape and green tea extracts, ginkgo biloba and UVA/B sun filters which act as anti-oxidant and treating agents. Be sure to shake well to mix the phases before applying to damp hair, it comes in very handy for dealing with the tangled mess left behind after backcombed upstyles!

Naturally when I got a set for Christmas containing; Revlon Equave Hydro Nutritive Conditioner, Hydro Nutritive Shampoo and Hyrdo Nutritive Creamy Mask, I was thrilled and couldn't wait to try out all the products.

They are all equally as impressive as the conditioner, smell as great and just makes hair so unbelievably soft. I use the shampoo and conditioner for everyday use and the mask for when I want a special treat. The conditioner is particularly great for use on holidays after the beach or pool to rejuvenate your hair. There are other conditioners in the range and also serum, which I would recommend checking out, you will find the products sold in hairdressing salons rather then supermarkets. I highly recommend giving any of these products a go, if I had to suggest only one though it would be the leave in conditioner every time. I will definitely be repurchasing! Enjoy :)

What are your go to hairproducts, any recommendations?
