Eat Pray Love
Tucked up in bed with the flu is not how I had envisioned spending my day off, particularly as the weather is so nice and warm, luckily the chocolate chip muffin I'm scoffing is making it all a little nicer! Trying to be some what productive by making lists to get organised for returning to college and reading Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert.
'Eat,Pray, Love' was another of my bargain charity shop buys, 3 books for 1 euro, purchased for some holiday reading. Although I adore funny, fluffy girly books, I really enjoy books that inspire and enlighten and that's exactly what 'Eat, Love, Pray' does. I've only just started it but already it's become one of those books I just can't put down. Gilbert writes with such honesty, passion and humour, tackling subjects like loneliness, depression and self discovery with wit and originality. I especially love the little nuggets of knowledge to be found among the pages, such as the history of the Italian language. I love how books like this can really affect your outlook and attitude, challenge you to think about your life. The Secret and Simple Abundance have the same effect, filling you with positivity, self believe and a sense that yes I can get the most out of life, life can be really great.
Anyway, enough of the rambling on, now to the fashion! These photos were taken before the flu arrived but I hadn't had the chance to post them. The Romper was a hand me down from my sister, it was an impulse buy she no longer likes, but I love it! It's surprisingly versatile and I got a lot of wear out of it by the sea paired with boyfriend cardigans or striped shirts with the sleeves rolled up when it got cooler.
Outfit details: romper (Bay) hand me down so FREE, white tee underneath (Pull and Bear) approx 7 euro, wedges (Primark) present from my boyfriend.
