I always love reading weekend catch-ups on everyone's blogs, it's such a great way to remember what you got up to in the weekend without needing a full post to remember every little thing you do. So I thought I'd give it a try, new blogging year and all that! Another busy week back in work, my second week back after the holidays and summer holidays seems so so far away, especially as we had a little snow/sleet downpour today. An eventful little weekend was had shopping for a new car, well not new at all, just new to me.  

1. Loving my cupcake shellac my super talented sister did for me for my birthday, pink glitter shellac and hand painted cupcakes what more could you want. Already have loads of ideas for valentine's themed shellac, bring on the red glitter..

2. Head over heels in love with my new River Island cutout boots that my boyfriend treated me to. I wanted to dip into the cutout boot trend but in a subtle way, so I love how they look quite classic and simple from the front. And they have zipper trim, perfect much? Had to make a quick trip to Topshop immediately to buy frilly trimmed socks to pair with them naturally. 

3. I cram my car with as many girly accessories as possible: pretty pillows, teddies, reindeer antlers at Christmas, so I love these new pressies my sister got me to girl up my car.

4. Sundays are for reading, watching How I Met Your Mother, eating cupcakes and lounging in comfy clothes while it rains away outside. My tracksuit bottoms are PINK by Victoria Secret and my grey speckled jumper is from Primark.
