Dusty Pink

There's nothing more comfortable to wear in hot weather than a simple, fuss free maxi dress. They're light, easy to style and can be dressed up or down. I bought this pale pink one in the River Island summer sale last year, I think it cost €19. The material is so soft and it has lovely gold beads on the ties to add detail. As its very long, it's perfect to wear with wedges underneath so you can look extra tall. To keep the outfit simple I did a messy top knot, I hate having my hair down in the heat. I wore this for dinner out with friends last night, the food was amazing, I had cod in beer batter and chips with mushy peas and tartar sauce, yum yum yum!

 I've been trying my hand at a little summer cooking today, although cooking might be too strong a word. I've been making different salads and home made potato salad to have with a BBQ, I really need to improve my cooking skills, it's going to be my summer project! Have you any summer projects planned?
