The Dean Hotel, 33 Harcourt Street, Dublin 2
To celebrate Record Store Day on Saturday, my boyfriend and I spent the day trawling Dublin's record stores followed by a night in the gorgeous Dean Hotel. The flawlessly styled Dean Hotel offers a range of seriously cool rooms from Mod Pods and Punk Bunks right up to a jawdropping penthouse. We stayed in a HiFi room for the night, it's large (26sqm), with a view of Dublin city from your comfy bed. The roomy power shower boasts Grafton Barber products, there's a mountain of Irish snacks, a Nespresso machine and a packed SMEG fridge. For entertainment, you've got a record player equipped with a Marshall amp and a selection of vinyl. Not to mention a 50 inch TV with Netflix, that meant a night curled up in bed watching Good Will Hunting while eating macaroons. Honestly is there anything more they could offer with this room? This is such a unique, modern hotel, I've never stayed somewhere with such style and personality or meticulous attention to detail, I was blown away. I really love their emphasis on Irish products too from the snacks in the rooms, to the bath products, to the art by Irish artists that hangs on the walls. A stay here comes with one word of caution, which the hotel itself is very honest about, it can be quite noisy late into the night due to it's location, it is next door to Copper's after all. To help with this noise disturbance there's earplugs right next to your bed. Luckily there's so much right with this hotel it more than makes up for the noise. Apologies for the huge amount of photos, but when a room is this pretty it deserves to be documented.
What is your favorite hotel ever?

Deleteommg this looks so cool, love that industrial style! I don´t really have a favourite...so far it´s probably Albany Ballantry in edinburgh. I loved that place because it´s so old fashioned :) xx

Everything just looks so trendy and amazing. I ADORE the little munchies box next to the kettle, I've a feeling I'll be spending quite a lot of my time there when we go for our stay! Those views are just incredible.
