Hides a million sins

The maxi dress. How did I ever survive without you in my life. You make dressing so much easier. Maxi dress on and I'm ready to go. No 'does this top go with these bottoms' dilemma. No will I wear leggings or jeans. No oh I cant wear a dress today my legs are in no fit state to be on show. No worrying about how your shoes look with the dress if you get a floor sweeping style. Any my very favourite part: If it's a little chilly out you can stick a pair of leggings on underneath and no one will know. Maxi dress=dressing easily. Funnily enough I never would have actually gotten the thing if I hadn't been going to a beach themed party. My maxi dress is from Pennys (Primark) and cost 10 or 11 euro. It is my absolute summer essential, it can go anywhere and can be dressed down with flip flops, a bundled up scarf and boyfriend cardigan, and dressed up with a beaded waistcoat and jewels.

Outfit details: Maxi dress (primark), bangles (my debs jewelry), watch (D&G), engagement ring, beaded bracelets (present from Poland). Excuse my messy hair etc. working doesn't really allow for looking super glam!
As well as my maxi, here's a few of my other summer essentials: Levis cutoffs (diy shorts on old hand me down jeans), Moschino sunglasses (only 19.99 from TK max, absolute bargain, although I can imagine the little red sun burnt heart on my forehead if I'm out in the sun too long!) and a good girlie book for reading in the sun (from secondhand shop where I get all my books). What's your summer essentials?
