Life is in session

The second of my lanzarote adventures; a camel ride beside a volcano! I've heard so many negative accounts from people of camel rides on holidays I almost nearly didn't go for it. Luckily I gave it a go and none of those negative things turned out to be true for me. Another experience to tick off the bucket list! If your in lanzarote you should definitely give it a go it's very cheap and a great laugh not to mention a great holiday photo to frame for the memories.

My camel, which I appropriately named Camey, kept trying to veer off the track down the side of the mountain for fun. The camel owners were even more amusing, one of them kept adjusting my scarf and he styled it quite nicely I have to say! The only negative thing I will say is that I did feel guilty at the sight of the masks on the camels mouths (to stop them spitting or biting I think) so I would bear that in mind.

Hope everyone had a great week and a lovely valentine's to those who celebrated it! I was really spoiled this week, treated to a Hello Kitty phone for valentines along with dinner and cinema to see Gnomeo and Juliet, which is so incredibly cute and funny, a definite must see. I absolutely have to buy a gnome after that, I always get ideas like that from films, I'm such a film junkie. I watched Roller Derby last week and instantly wanted a pair of roller skates! I also got a lovely little surprise this weekend of a pretty navy duffel coat from my mammy, I've wanted one like it for ages as it's so classic style and my current coat is getting so worn out. It will doubt appear in many posts in the future as I know I'll be wearing it constantly. Have a nice relaxing weekend!
