Here's a little collection of the things I'm going mad for this week. A little mixture of things that are affordable, adorable and inspirational.
Starting with Etsy and Who's the Fairest (www.whosthefairest.etsy.com) I am in love with her clutch bags made from new and vintage fabrics. This clutch is made from fabric which is 100% imported Japanese Kimono fabric. The bag is completely handmade and best of all it's now on sale down from 50 dollars to 25.
Also stumbled across some adorable prints at The Poppy tree by Kelly-Ann (also on Etsy (www.etsy.com/shop/thepoppytree). The prints I've selected are 15 dollars each and with Valentines day in mind I am in love with her tiny little Valentines cards for 6 dollars.
What I really love about Etsy is that it's an escape from all things mass produced, it's about talented individuals, one of a kind original handmade pieces and feeling like you've discovered a hidden gem.
My eco site of the week is one of my absolute favourites: www.lovefoodhatewaste.com
'We throw away 8.3 million tonnes of food every year most of which could have been eaten' That very fact just shocks me, I feel so guilty throwing away food now that as gone out of date that should have been eaten and this website can help prevent that happening. It's got meal planners, tips for freezing food and delicious recipes. I love smoothies and soups for using up fruit and vegetables before the go to waste.
The blogger of the week that has me so very impressed is nikki at flairtoremember.blogspot.com I love her carefree style, her beautiful photos that just shine with happiness and fun and her gorgeous creations. One particular dress just leaves me in awe;
Now a little selection of Inspirational photos for the week:
Makes me want to stack my rings up on every finger and bake buns like a domestic goddess!
These just make me feel ready for the summer, travelling, adventures and just plain relaxing
P.s. None of the images used are property of thriftylilpixie and if you would like any of them removed just let me know. Sources of the images are the websites mentioned in the post.
